Eligibility

To apply for treatment, your request must meet these conditions:

  • The person requiring treatment is 21 years or younger
  • The treatment is medically necessary
  • The family cannot afford treatment (U.S. applicants: Medicaid or below).
  • There is no available treatment locally

Please note: The Foundation does not provide rhinoplasty (nose reshaping) or other cosmetic surgeries that are not medically necessary. Applications requesting cosmetic surgery will be declined.

Our Process

Step one: Apply Online

Have a photo of the affected area ready to upload.

Step two: Look for our reply

We will contact you within 2-12 weeks to request more information or inform you that we cannot help your child.

Step three: Schedule your visit

  • If the medical team accepts your case, our Surgical Coordinator will reach out to begin planning your visit.
  • If you need a passport or visa, we will provide the child and ONE parent or guardian with a letter of invitation.
  • Our team will schedule your flights, airport pickup, accommodations, additional testing, and surgeries.
The Foundation will cover expenses related to accommodation, travel, and surgery while you’re in New York, so you and your child can focus on what matters: their health and recovery.
