Telemundo: Al Rojo Vivo. Dr. Thomas Romo, founder and president of the Little Baby Face Foundation, performed ear reconstruction surgery on Charlie Cardillo to correct his birth deformity of lacking the proper folds in his ears.


NY Daily News: Bullied Boy Smiles. Born with Down Syndrome, 15-year-old Charlie Cardillo has been taunted all his life because his ears didn't have the usual folds and ridges and flopped forward. Now, after LBFF provided him with free surgery he says his ears are "just like Dad's!"


Transforming Lives and Faces of Children. When a child has a facial birth defect it makes him/her a target for bullying. Through free plastic and reconstructive surgery LBFF gives them a fighting chance to be who they want to be.



Fox TV News: Bullied Girl Smiles. Arriana cried when she said, "It hurts to be bullied." Classmates have called her "rat ears" and "dumbo." Her mother caught Arriana trying to staple her ears back. Her self-esteem has improved dramatically.

Kate Phillips. Cate Phillips, a West Michigan girl was born with a congenital birth defect that made her ears stick out. Cate was born six weeks prematurely and one ear did not develop cartilage, a condition known as "cup" ear.



Morgan's Journey...A life changed forever. Brenda Winklbauer sent us this video of her son Morgan’s transformation after he was chosen to receive free surgery from the Little Baby Face Foundation.




Nick News: Bullied For the Way You Look Native American Ohiyesa "Ohi" Eastman, 13, was bullied unmercifully for his malformed ears. After Little Baby Face Foundation provided free surgery he said, "Now I think it'll be different. I can make new friends. It's a good feeling inside for me."

Believe in Miracles The Little Baby Face Foundation In 2007, filmmakers Lisamarie Costabile and Mark Larson followed Dr. Thomas Romo as he treated Peyton Sherrill, a boy from Alabama with microtia, he was born without his right ear.

 

Living a Life of Consequence In 2009, filmmaker Rudy Gaskin followed Dr. Deborah Pilla, D.D.S. as she treated The Little Baby Face Foundation patients Sharon Wong and Ahmed Zouhir for severe dental deformaties.
