Lorena’s dream come true!
You can help give Lorena Ochoa a normal life by helping to underwrite
her treatments.
Lorena is an eleven-year old girl waiting to live a normal life, one
without shame and ridicule. Lorena has bilateral microtia (missing ear)
and artesia (missing ear canal), but no treatment for his condition is
available in her hometown in Ecuador. Nor can his family afford to pay
for travel and treatment elsewhere.
LBFF doctors are donating $18,700 in surgery and she will be able to
stay with friends during her treatments, but additional support is still
needed to make her treatment possible. Lorena’s treatment will entail
two procedures: the first will create a framework for two external ears;
during the second, Lorena will be fitted with his external ear and
bone-anchored external hearing aid.
Our team of volunteer surgeons and doctors are ready to transform
Lorena’s face and life, but they need your help to give Lorena a new
beginning.
