You are invited to make Fernando’s dream come true!
You can help give Fernando Jerod Fernandez Molina a normal life by
helping to underwrite his treatments.
Fernando is a nine-year old boy from Portoviejo, Ecuador. Fernando was
born with right-sided microtia (missing ear) and artesia (missing ear
canal), but no treatment for his condition is available in his
community.
LBFF doctors are donating $18,700 in surgery, but additional support is
still needed to make his treatment possible. Fernando’s treatment will
entail two procedures: the first will create a framework for an external
ear; during the second, Fernando will be fitted with his external ear.
He will stay with relatives in NYC during his treatments and recovery.
Our team of volunteer surgeons and doctors are ready to transform
Fernando’s face and life, but they need your help to give him a new
beginning.
