MATEO MOLINA

MATEO Six year old Mateo was born without a right ear and there is no treatment for his condition in his hometown in Ecuador. LBFF doctors are donating $18,000 in surgical services, and Mateo is able to stay with family friends during his treatments in New York City. But additional support is still needed to make hearing a reality for him.

MELANIE Nine-year-old Melanie was born with a lazy eye, microtia, atresia and hemifacial microsomia. Her treatment requires four separate procedures during three trips to New York City to create an external ear, fit her with a bone-anchored hearing aid, and for facial surgeries for her lazy eye and missing mandible. She has already undergone jaw reconstruction using the rib graft method which now allows her to open her jaw and eat normally. Her next surgery will begin her ear reconstruction.

Newborn GAVYN is in the process of obtaining his passport and visa. He lives with his Mom in the Philippines. Gavyn was born on August 8, 2010. He must grow to 10 pounds before we can do surgery.

AMRU whose full name is Amru Hikmat Abu Al Foul is 16 years old is from Jordan.

 

TARKESSH MAHENDRAN

TARKESSH is seventeen years old and lives in Malaysia. He was born with right ear microtia and atresia (he has 70% hearing loss). There are no surgeons specializing in his required surgeries in his country. With your donation we can arrange surgery and cover related expenses.

LORENA OCHOA

LORENA is an eleven-year old girl hoping to live a normal life one day—without shame and ridicule. Lorena has bilateral microtia (missing ear) and is missing both ear canals, but no treatment for her condition is available in her hometown in Ecuador. LBFF doctors are donating $18,700 in surgery. Lorena will be able to stay with friends during her treatments, but additional support is still needed to make her treatment possible.

MATTHEW Twelve year old Matthew is from Tobago West Indies. He requires surgery for microtia.

She was born with microtia and a mandible deformity. She is awaiting a visa and is expected to come to NYC in a few months for her first microtia surgery. While in NYC, our medical team will evaluate her jaw condition and consider treatment options.
